A combined COVID-flu vaccine is being trialled for patients who can't have the traditional COVID-19 jab.
Researchers at Mater Hospital Brisbane are leading the clinical trial of a protein-based jab in what would be an Australia-first if it became widely available.
Brisbane woman Frances Nilson, 74, agreed to be part of the trial because of her passion for science and the real-world success of vaccinations.
